Hi guys! Wow, what a busy and exciting week for me…if you follow me on Instagram, you could’ve heard I started a summer course in IED Barcelona. Dreams do come true and I am incredibly happy to learn something new every day. Fashion trends investigation and coolhunting is something that rounds up all my interests and I can’t wait to see where this unique study experience will take me.
Today I want to share some pictures that were taken few weeks ago in Riga. Being back home always awakes certain memories and nostalgia. One of the places which holds a special place in my heart surely is the Silent Centre. This part of Riga is known for it’s outstanding Art Nouveau architecture, green parks and upscale restaurant scene. One of the late trendy cafes that should be highlighted is this healthy food restaurant. For me it was the amazing interior decor that made me fell in love with the cafe. But what it really stands for is organic, healthy foods, that are served in a delightful manner. By the way, do you notice how my outfit matches the colour ambience of the place? When putting together all photos from that day I realised that I am matching not only the interior beautiful interior, but also the colour tones of the city. The fine, flowing lines of Art Nouveau buildings create a noble atmosphere and it would feel intolerable to stroll around this area dressed too casually. After all, we don’t need any bigger reason to dress up. An outfit can be very individual and reflect our personalities, but it can also be used as a tool to integrate and blend in a specific environment. What do you think of that? Do you love to dress up for the city or do you prefer to make a statement and contrast your surroundings?
